Catching Up

We had a great Thanksgiving vacation and it's taken me awhile to get back in the swing of things. The shop is decorated with poinsettias and snowflakes, most of my Christmas shopping is done, and we're ready for a quiet Christmas at home. The Hartsville Civic Chorale had its Christmas concert last week. I sang and played handbells and enjoyed it tremendously. It took a lot of holiday music to get me in the spirit this year!

Our time in Granbury, Texas was great. We enjoyed visiting with the family members who could make it. Our son and daughter-in-law hosted Thanksgiving at their new house. She is a fabulous cook, so no one went hungry. This visit was the most time we had spent with our grandaughters for a long time. I couldn't get enough of coloring, playing with Barbies and Play-Doh, watching cartoons, and visiting the Christmas park. We actually have pictures!

Posing on the park bench by the outdoor fire pit.

Barbie coloring books are the best!

Being silly at the Christmas park.

Such angels!

Gee, can you tell we were in Texas?

Things have settled down enough to get some stitching done. Maybe I'll have a happy dance to post soon.
