It's All About The Journey

Bob and I are at a new turn in the road in the journey that is our lives together. Pretty cheesy line, I know, but cheesy is my middle name! Anyway, we will be moving to Arlington, Texas in June. Bob accepted a new position with the NRC office there so we could live near family again. When we moved east 12 years ago, we left three grown children in Texas and now we have a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, and 2 granddaughters there. South Carolina is just too far away to spend as much time with them as we'd like. We're very excited and looking forward to the adventure of settling in a new place again.

Not the best timing since I just moved Berri Patch to a great location downtown and business is really picking up. I've enjoyed running the shop so much and have made such wonderful friends in the process. Moving the shop with us is not going to be a great option, so I've decided to sell the business. I'm asking $25,000 to cover the inventory and fixtures. The overhead is low for such a great location. Hopefully there's somebody out there to step in and keep the shop going.

In the meantime, enjoy some pictures of early spring in my garden. I love watching green things poke out of the ground and flowers starting to bloom.

The Bradford Pears are already blooming all over town. This isn't the best picture, but I had to try to capture the elegance of the new white blooms against the other bare trees.

Oh Sherri, what a shame you have to move and sell your shop! Has anyone offered to buy it yet? I bet your customers will be so disappointed to see you go.
Your photos are lovely!
