New House

We're back home from our house hunting trip in Texas and can report that the trip was a success. We found a fabulous house that should suit us well. It's quite a bit bigger than the house we live in now which will give us more space for guests and hobbies. Bob will build a workshop where the carport is now. I couldn't resist checking in at the The Stitch Niche, soon to be my new LNS. The owner, Kathy, is wonderful and I got to meet the Thursday Night Stitch 'n Bitch group. I enhanced my stash with the pattern, floss, and fabric for the most recent Blackbird Loose Feathers. I can't wait to start it!

We also found a Harley shop and Bob bought me a new rainsuit for my birthday. Very cool!! We spent Saturday in Granbury and had birthday cake and champagne. Woody remembered my very favority cake - red velvet with cream cheese icing from the Red Oven Bakery. Yum!!
